Queen Maxima takes part in a digital panel discussion at World Economic Forum
Today, Queen Maxima took part in a digital panel discussion hosted by the World Economic Forum’s (WEF) Davos Agenda 2021. The theme for Davos Agenda 2021 is “A Crucial Year to Rebuild Trust” and Queen Maxima attended the "Resetting Digital Currencies" session as the UN Secretary-General’s Special Advocate for Inclusive Finance.
Queen Maxima is a member of the Steering Committee of the Digital Currency Governance Consortium of the WEF since 2020 and during this meeting, she discussed how new digital forms of money could contribute to better access and safe use of financial services.
