Regal Review: The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge's 2011 Canada Tour - Day 5

On 4 July 2011, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge spent their fifth day in Canada, this time in Prince Edward Island.

The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge first visited Province House, the second oldest active legislature building in Canada.

Afterward, the couple learned about Canadian military accomplishments and William took part in a training session for the “waterbird” emergency landing procedure in a Sea King helicopter at Dalvay-by-the-Sea.

The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge then learned about the Aboriginal, Acadian, and Celtic cultural and culinary traditions of Prince Edward Island. The couple also took part in a dragon boat race.

Following their day in Charlottetown, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge traveled to Yellowknife where they would spend the next day.

For the first event of the day, Catherine wore a bespoke Alexander McQueen nautical-inspired dress with Alexander McQueen navy pumps. She wore her sapphire earrings and her Tiffany & Co bracelet.

While she watched William taking part in a helicopter training session, Catherine wore her Ted Baker Jinan coat with a red scarf and her sapphire earrings. She also wore the coat again later in the day when she arrived in Yellowknife.

For the dragon boat race, Catherine wore a Nike jacket with J Brand jeans and Sebago shoes. She also wore Kiki McDonough citrine earrings.
