Spanish royal family congratulates FPdGi 2020 Awards winners

Today, King Felipe, Queen Letizia, Princess Leonor - who is Princess of Asturias and of Girona - and Infanta Sofia held a meeting with the winners of the 2020 Princess of Girona Awards. Princess Leonor - who is the Honorary President of the Foundation - spoke in Catalan to the winners saying she was sorry that the award ceremony could not take place this year because of the COVID-19 pandemic.

This year’s winners are: Guillermo García López (Arts and Letter), Pepita Marín Rey-Stolle (Business), Rubén Darío Costa Riquelme (Scientific Research), Guillermo Martínez Gauna-Vivas (Social) and Boyan Slat (International). They also talked about the Foundation Princess of Girona’s activities and projects during the pandemic and their needs in the aftermath.

Queen Letizia wore a khaki blouse with her Karen Hallam ring.

Princess Leonor wore a white polka dot top by Massimo Dutti while Infanta Sofia wore a blue striped cotton shirt by Massimo Dutti.
