Today, Queen Maxima visited the BovenIJ hospital in Amsterdam to learn more about the consequences of the COVID-19 pandemic for regular care and social care.

During the visit, Queen Maxima met with the Board of Directors of the BovenIJ hospital and the Dutch Healthcare Authority. She also learned more about the social consequences of corona in Amsterdam-Noord, the Beter Samen in Noord program, and how the care can be improved through digitization and intensive cooperation of care providers.

Queen Maxima wore a new checked dress by Natan with her Gianvito Rossi olive suede pumps and a new Bottega Veneta clutch. She also wore new KMO earrings (with thanks to Mode Koningin Maxima) and her Pomellato Rouge Passion ring set.
