New Year's Reception in Luxembourg

Tonight, Grand Duke Henri, Hereditary Grand Duke Guillaume, Hereditary Grand Duchess Stéphanie and Princess Alexandra attended the traditional New Year’s Reception at the Grand-Ducal Palace. Grand Duchess Maria Teresa couldn’t attend as she had to cancel all her engagements this week to be with her brother who is sick.

The New Year’s Reception is hosted by the Grand Duke for members of the Government, members of the Chamber of Deputies, members of the Council of State, high representatives of the judiciary system, and of the diplomatic corps accredited to the Head of State. It is usually a daytime event so it was a surprise to see tiaras and orders tonight!

Hereditary Grand Duchess Stéphanie looked stunning wearing a navy Séraphine maternity gown. She also wore the Sapphire Necklace Tiara.

Princess Alexandra wore an Elie Saab Couture embroidered jacket and matching top that she borrowed from her mother with a printed maxi skirt. She wore the Chaumet Diamond and Pearl Choker Tiara.
