Royal Family attends Festival of Remembrance 2019
Tonight, the British Royal Family attended the Festival of Remembrance at the Royal Albert Hall.
The event has been held at the Royal Albert Hall every year since 1927. Queen Elizabeth has been patron of the Royal British Legion since 1952. Members of the Royal Family in attendance this year included the Queen, Prince Charles, Duchess Camilla, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex, the Earl and Countess of Wessex.
We don’t want to focus too much on fashion but here’s a quick rundown of what they wore.
The Duchess of Cambridge wore a new navy dress (strikingly similar to a Jenny Packham design we’ve seen on her in the past) with black velvet Jimmy Choo pumps, a new Alexander McQueen bespoke clutch, and Zara headband. She wore classic pearl earrings to finish the look.
The Duchess of Sussex wore a new bespoke dress from Erdem (similar design elements seen in their Fall 2019 collection) with a black leather clutch. She finished the look off with her pair of Aquazzura Deneuve Bow Pumps and new Jessica McCormack ruby earrings.
The Countess of Wessex arrived wearing her Gabriela Hearst Isa Faux Fur jacket but took it off inside to reveal a simple midi black dress. She paired this with diamond earrings, her black LK Bennett Harley Pumps and a Sophie Habsburg clutch.
Lest we forget.
