Meghan Markle's first appearance at the Endeavour Fund Awards

On February 1, 2018, Meghan made her first appearance alongside Prince Harry at the Endeavour Fund Awards in London.

Instead of wearing a gown like many assumed she would, Meghan opted for a black Alexander McQueen pantsuit. She was also in a silk ivory bodysuit by Tuxe Bodywear. Her black suede heels were by Manolo Blahnik. Harry's fiance was carrying a black Prada bag and wearing Le Plaisirs de Birks Bar earrings and her Birks Stacking Ring.

As reported in TODAY, the awards, "celebrate the achievements of wounded, injured and sick servicemen and women who have taken part in sporting and adventure challenges over the past year." Harry serves as the Endeavour Fund's royal patron. It was founded by the Royal Foundation of the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge and Prince Harry in 2012.

It was a rainy evening so the couple hurried into the venue - Goldsmiths' Hall - with the American actress under a gray umbrella. They attended the awards ceremony and then a reception to talk with the winners and guests.

Meghan went on stage to hand out an award alongside Neil Heritage. The envelope did not want to open as Heritage struggled to open it up to reveal the winner. Chuckling, Meghan helped him out before he announced the winner. A video from Victoria Murphy's Twitter is below:
