Princesses Beatrice and Eugenie at the Royal Wedding in 2011

Princesses Beatrice and Eugenie made quite the impression at the wedding of Prince William to then Catherine Middleton on April 29, 2011, at Westminster Abbey. Unfortunately, both girls' outfits were deemed flops by many in the media and fashion world.

The Princesses arrived with their father, Prince Andrew on the day. Princess Beatrice wore a blush Valentino Haute Couture dress and coat with "the hat seen 'round the world" - the Philip Treacy silk "pretzel" hat that matched her outfit. The Princess also wore Jimmy Choo metallic ankle-strap pumps.

Her sister wore a blue and green Vivienne Westwood suit with a matching hat by Philip Treacy that featured beige feathers coming out of the top. Eugenie wore Jimmy Choo golden pumps like her older sister.

However, Princess Beatrice elected to auction off her royal wedding hat that garnered so much negative attention to charity in May 2011. It fetched over $130,000 on eBay for charities that benefit children.
