The Duchess of Cambridge's dress to present Prince George

On July 22, 2013, the Duchess of Cambridge gave birth to her firstborn, a son, in the Lindo Wing at St. Mary's Hospital in London. He weighed 8 pounds 6 ounces and was born at 4:24 pm local time in London. They made the announcement to the world a few hours later via Clarence House's Twitter. The announcement was then placed on an easel outside Buckingham Palace.

The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge left the hospital with their baby boy the next day. When they presented him to the waiting press, Catherine wore a bespoke blue and white polka dot dress by Jenny Packham. It had short sleeves and came just above the knee. She also wore her nude wedges by Pied a Terre.

The little Prince's names were announced the next day as George Alexander Louis. He would be known as Prince George of Cambridge.

He was joined by a younger sister less than two years later, Princess Charlotte, in May 2015. They will gain a younger sibling in April 2018 when the Duchess gives birth to her and the Duke's third child in the same hospital.
