Princess Marie at Prince Carl Philip and Sofia Hellqvist's wedding

First of all, Merry Christmas! From all of us here at UFO No More, we wish you all a very Merry Christmas and joyous 2018!

For the wedding of Prince Carl Philip of Sweden to Sofia Hellqvist on June 13, 2015, in the Royal Chapel at Stockholm Palace, Princess Marie of Denmark wore a light green wide necked gown by Alberta Ferretti. Marie wore her Order of the Elephant sash and her Diamond Floral Tiara.

The wedding celebrations began on June 12 with a private dinner hosted by King Carl XVI Gustaf and Queen Silvia of Sweden on the island of Skeppsholmen. The next day the Royal Chapel hosted its seventh royal wedding that afternoon with the soon-to-be Princess Sofia wearing a wedding gown by Ida Sjöstedt. The ceremony was very modern by royal standards with pop songs being sung like Rhianna's "Umbrella" during the ceremony.

Princess Estelle - Prince Carl Philip's niece - was one of the bridesmaids, alongside Anaïs Sommerlath, Chloé Sommerlath and Tiara Larsson. Jan-Åke Hansson served as best man.

Besides the Swedish Royal Family and Hellqvist family, others who attended included the Earl and Countess of Wessex; Queen Margrethe, Crown Prince Frederik, Crown Princess Mary, Prince Joachim and Princess Marie of Denmark; Queen Sonja, Crown Prince Haakon, Crown Princess Mette-Marit, Princess Märtha Louise of Norway (with then-husband Ari Behn); Queen Mathilde of Belgium; Princess Takamado of Japan; Prince Nikolaos and Princess Tatiana of Greece and Denmark; and Queen Máxima of the Netherlands.
