Then Sofia Hellqvist attended her private pre-wedding dinner on the island of Skeppsholmen in Stockholm on Friday, June 12, 2015. 

Sarah found that she wore a blue Zuhair Murad gown for the evening festivities. She paired it with nude pointy-toed heels. The dress was modified to make the slit hit the knee instead of the original thigh high slit. 

The 270 guests arrived at the harbor of Stockholm before being taken to the island on the SS Stockholm; however, Princess Madeleine and Christopher O'Neill skipped the boat ride due to Madeleine being just days from delivering their second child. They instead traveled to the island by car.

Sofia told Expressen before boarding the SS Stockholm that it "feels superb!" regarding the wedding.

Crown Princess Victoria and Princess Madeleine gave a speech during the dinner where they told Sofia, "It is not difficult to understand why our brother has fallen for you. You have a good heart and a clever brain."

Royals from all over the world flew in to the Swedish capital for the wedding on June 13, 2015, where Sofia Hellqvist would become Princess Sofia after her wedding in the Royal Chapel of Stockholm Palace.
