When Crown Princess Victoria married Daniel Westling in June 2010, the then Charlene Wittstock accompanied Prince Albert of Monaco to the wedding in Stockholm. Just 4 days later, it was announced that Prince Albert was to marry Charlene.
For the occasion, the future Princess wore an Armani gown with long, dangling diamond earrings. While it is traditional for royal female guests to wear a tiara for Scandinavian weddings, Charlene was, at the time, a private citizen, and therefore, she did not wear one. However, it must also be pointed out that Charlene did not choose to wear a tiara to Princess Madeleine's wedding in 2013 either even though she was a member of a royal family.
Crown Princess Victoria wed Daniel Westling (now Prince Daniel) at Stockholm Cathedral on June 19, 2010. This was a special day for the Swedish Royal Family as it was on the same day that Crown Princess Victoria's parents, King Carl XVI Gustaf and Queen Silvia, wed 34 years earlier.
The wedding was dubbed "Europe's biggest wedding since the Prince of Wales married Lady Diana Spencer in 1981." Over 1,200 guests witnessed the happy nuptials on that day in June 2010.
The Crown Princess Couple now have a four-year-old daughter, Princess Estelle and an eight-month-old son, Prince Oscar.
